This would really help us. Many companies seem to have more than one domain. E.g. .com vs .co.uk, abcdef.com vs abc-def.com.
We have a synched custom email field on the prospect and contact/lead but it needs quite a bit of process around it to manage and consolidate the person's engagement history. We are having to decide which is the main email and have lead conversion processes that require regular monitoring including " duplication" rules to indicate possible duplicates if the email can be found in the alternate email address of another record. Keeping two prospect records would mean:
1. All engagement can't be seen at a glance in either Pardot or Salesforce
2. Score and profile management isn't accurate based on the person's behaviour (making meaningful automations very difficult)
3. Marketing preferences could be duplicated resulting in the same content being sent multiple times to the same person

Hi there, we're also looking for this functionality. As a non-profit, we have folks who signed up for our newsletter with one email, but donate with another. In these cases there will be two or more emails associated with a Contact, but Salesforce only records the emails associated with the "preferred email" field under the Pardot tab. This makes it difficult to keep track of all our communications with subscribers and donors in one place.
It would be idea to have the functionality for Pardot to read multiple email fields under a Contact's account and identify if the email used in pardot matches any of the fields in the Contact's account, then capture that email under their Pardot tab.

We have many members and attorneys that would have multiple email addresses they need to get different communications to different emails. This is not an uncommon thing where I, as a consumer, am able to say send this email to one email and send a different email to a different email addresss. Limiting this limits our ability to be flexibile with how and where we communicate with our members and attorneys.

We work with consultants who maintain multiple email addresses depending upon client preference (i.e. their company address or a client address) and since they can be working with multiple clients it can be hard to manage when they move from one project to another. This would be a tremendous help

Working for a university, we have a strong use case for sending to multiple email addresses per person. Our prospects -- students who have not yet applied -- establish initial contact with us by providing their personal emails (through RFI forms, event registrations, etc.). It is not until they apply for admission that they are assigned a campus email account. There is then a time of gray area where we're encouraging them to move to their campus account for all relevant information, but they're often checking only the personal email they're used to... buy-in to make this behavior change is difficult. We have a need to be able to send to both accounts during that timeframe so no crucial admission-related information is lost.

Agree with comments below... We often have a user that will have multiple email addresses (business, personal, billing@, etc.) and they will use them interchangably. Having all email addresses connected to the same prospect (or lead/contact) would keep us from having duplicates. Thanks!

We are just implementing Pardot and have just discovered that this cannot be done. We work with Person Accounts for our B2C customers and 70% of our records have more than one email address listed (ie Husband and Wife).
Learning that this is not possible means that I will have to use an alternate email program to communicate with these clients. VERY DISAPPOINTED to say the least, as during the sales process this was not identified. Please fix this! I can give you full details on my account needs if you need work examples.

We have the same issue Inna does. It's not that we want to send to multiple addresses, it's that prospects fill out forms, register for webinars, etc with different email addresses. If pardot could match to both a primary and secondary email field it would cut down on record duplication.

It would be a huge help for us to have this. We communicate with customers initially using their business addresses but sometimes they subscribe to our newsletters etc using personal ones. We need to be able to use their business email for one-on-one contacts but personal emails for marketing.
