Hi all, Any update on this? The Tableau Community Forums now uses the SF Community Cloud platform, and we regularly hear complaints about the inability to easily copy paste images into forum posts. Fingers & toes crossed that this feature is coming soon!

This feature would be great for us to use chatter in our service desk product. At the moment it really hinders the communication between the customer and company providing support. It's just a rich text editor field - I'm surprised this has been a feature request since 8 years ago...

Its crazy how important this is to Service Providers in being able to successfully transition customers from seeking or collaborating in support cases via email to the community portal driven support methods. Sending an update to a case an embdeded in a screenshot is a 2 step process vs doing so via the community or a post via a case is a 10 step process (client expreieince = poor), so therefore difficult to promote as an enhanced support method. This is a deal breaker for us and the use of Salesforce Community and feel this should be considered as a high priority especially being an idea for up to 8 years!

I am a Tableau Forums Ambassador and was informed that the newly launched Tableau Forums is now on the Salesforce platform. The previous Tableau Forums had the ability to paste screenshots from the clipboard, making it super easy to help others out, but now, due to Salesforce limitations, we are no longer able to do so. Having to save and upload images is required, and messes up the "flow" of helping to answer people's questions. Seems like a regression to me. :(
