    Thanks for commenting, everyone.

Please help us rally support for this Idea! It's still under the point threshold so we will need more support in order to get this adopted.

    Thanks.

This is critical functionality that makes managing the community a daily task of updating new articles with the topics just so they can be viewed in the Community.  There needs to be an automated way to map data categories to topics such that published articles that are customer visible with that data category automatically will appear.  Please work on fixing this issue since it impacts any organization that publishes knowledge that needs to be seen by customers immediately.

Should deinitely not be a manual task.  How would one otherwise know what is truly trending?

We really need this feature as we are publishing many articles daily and adding data categories to navigational topics is a manual time consuimg process. Please provide some kind of way to automate this.

This has now become a daily task I just "do" because I can't automate it... Community Management is suppose to be easy. This is really needed!

We need this so badly. With over 20-30 contributors in the company, all articles published to SFDC must be instantly available on the Community without any manual effort from the community manager. Updating topics manually isn't an acceptable longterm solution.

I think salesforce needs to take a good hard look at categories, topics, and tags. They're all different implementations of the same thing, definitely need to unify these. Same with Files, Attachments, Documents. I know it's like this becuase of aquisitions but it makes for a very disjointed user experience. There's already 20 (that's an exageration) different places you have to go to set up a customer community.

This seems to be a need .Allowing some sort of trigger or config settings will make life so much easier .
