Rather than increasing the limit, SFDC should provide a way for users to "mass/bulk unfollow". |

Hi team, As I am Management of Change Lead and I need to be aligned to many FSM users on Chatter, I have reached the maximum of Chatter objects one can follow. Would it be possible to have that limit increased? Thank you in advance, best regards |

In addition to increasing the limit, the ability to programmatically Unfollow would help. Use Case: Once an Case status = Closed, set all Followers to automatically unfollow it. Another idea is to increase limit by Object -- which would be functionally appropriate. |

This hit us hard. We use sales teams, one co-ordinator or planner will be on the teams for several sales people. When the co-ordinator or planner hits 500, suddently no one on any team s/he's on can create a new opportunity or similar because of the exception thrown trying to add record 501 to the team-mate's chatter feed. No matter what the limit is, that should not be the failure behavior. |

Given the "assembly line" and often convoluted processes that follow lead generation I consider "chatter" notifications to be essential to allow transparency for commissions pay-out purposes. I am only working part time had exceeded the 500 "follows" allowed in approx. a year and a half. |

This needs to be increased. Agreed with the post below, facebook/twitter allow limitless following, why wouldnt SFDC do the same? |

That's great that you can now up this limit when needed. Is there a hard limit? If so, what is it? |
