Thank you for this great change and your hardwork! Unfortunately, we don't always need multiple contacts though and the new screen always pops up. Could there be a "plus" sign or something next to the name instead of it automatically opening a new screen for multiple contacts? This is going to waste of lot of precious time when you're trying to quickly log calls for one contact (and you have to make over 100 calls a day). I appreciate any feedback on future updates or somebody sending me to the right spot to post this concern.

We started last year using Campaign when having a trade show for example, or a long business trip, It is a way to invite all the leads to the campaign event, and qualify them when applies.
I think it is a way to have multiple leads: candidates, contacts and/or accounts on one single task to manage.
Instead of considering the campaign as only a media action, to get the metrics of the investment, also you may consider it as task with leads and set up rules, like invited to the show+ invited and not responded +invited and requested access + interested to be quoted+ qualifies for distribution or partner channel etc....

Did associate multiple contacts to emails (not just tasks) make the Summer 12 release? I know it was a maybe, but a definite for the Winter 12 release. It would really help us out GREATLY if it did. I am building a system for a government agency, and we cc about 10 people on every email we send.

Our organization also wants to track participation in events. We have events that are both one-time or re-occuring. I agree that it is too time-consuming to log an activity for 30-50 different contacts who attended the same event. We do need to differentiate between those who are invited and those who actually attended an individual meeting or event - this is critical to our fundraising efforts. We need to track this at the contact level.

I was surprised to find that this was not available - especially with the ability to add invitees. This is a reoccureing issue for all of our Wholesalers. Without all the extra work or entering in the 30 different activites, it paints a very inaccurate picture of the contacts that are being touched.

Here's a little food for thought:
Instead of "cloning" the activity per contact, how about tagging contacts per activity? A perfect example would be the Facebook platform. You have an event where you check into a "place", and you tag multiple friends that were there.
Here is my example of how this would work. I frequently visit clients that all work in the same office/account, but are all individual referral sources/contacts. They all report to one leader/contact within the office. If I meet them all within the same hour and location, I'd like to create one event under that account and leader, then have the option to add contacts connected to that leader automatically pop up as options to tag.

When you create the fix, can you also relate it to multiple objects. For example I meet with a group of people and discuss the 6 opportunities. At the recording of the event I would like to be able to select the people at the meeting and associate it with the followup of these 4 opportunities . All done in one event

Simple need: create a task (ex send an email with a due date) and then assign this task to multiple contacts.
Should be more efficient for the SAles rep not to clone this activity, but to be able to assign at once, like we have in the mass email functionality , to a list of contacts.
