We've added the ability to store multiple email addresses and phone numbers in their own entities and tie them to contacts via the individual object - more on that in the Spring '20 release notes, here: https://releasenotes.docs.salesforce.com/en-us/spring20/release-notes/rn_security_contact_points_and_consent.htm?edition=&impact=

From the upcoming Spring '20 release notes http://releasenotes.docs.salesforce.com/en-us/spring20/release-notes/rn_security_contact_points_and_consent.htm. I haven't been able to check this out in a sandbox preview yet.

May we add multiple emails to one contact to keep synergy and integration on communication from email to sales force when working with a client that uses 2 emails or do I have to do 2 contacts for each email and see what I have in both under account if I have them both under Master Account Name?

I don't know about how right or wrong it is but I just add a new contact with the same name and use a slightly different job title and add the new (additional) email address and then those email will come into SF and I have all the conversations in one place whether they are from the main email address or a second email address. For me, this solved the issue.

I am trying to figure out how to do this. Here's my use case:
I'd appreciate this feature request being reconsidered. Thanks.

Thank you Sam Broda. I will look into this. I feel ike SF is a half-baked system that requires more and more 3rd party plugins to get what should already be available. Every 3rd party plugin is a security risk thatr I hate to take. But without them, SF is useless for our needs. In hindsight, I wish I went with Zendesk.

Salesforce will never address this issue. Apparently, the database architecture can't accommodate this feature.

Since this is a general issue with overall contact management, newer functionality of allowing automated activity capture with Einstein compounds this issue and is frustrating for customers and partners to explain.
Here's the link to the idea for the Einstein Activity Capture side of this issue since any major changes to how you aggregate may also impact anything related to activity timeline functionality - https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=0873A000000lKVVQA2
